I'm getting back into photography after a long hiatus. Never posted any of it before. Some will be digital, others will be shot using my vintage Minolta X-700, on 35mm color film. Stay tuned.

The new age of art

I joined this community like 10 years ago. Maybe it’s been longer. Originally I joined it just as a fan. But since I’ve decided to contribute as an artist. I haven’t contributed much, and what I have contributed is completely my work. However, it’s become more and more apparent that others here on this site who claim to be artists cannot say the same thing. in fact, it’s become more and more obvious now that artists take other artists’ work right here on this site and then publish it on their own sites, pushing it off as their own. I’ve seen this become a problem, especially with the abundance of AI art that’s out here now. Frankly, there’s just so much of it that it’s hard to not get overwhelmed by it. Some of it’s crap but some of it is so good that it’s hard to tell the difference between it and real photographs. I’ve learned that there are a couple of giveaways to tell the difference, but you have to have a really trained eye to see these things. I would imagine that this has
